This book, just like a collage, brings together the different elements of our lives, our work and our passions. Over the years, all the different features of our lives have come together to form one big picture: bread and art, life and spirit, creativity and pleasure.
"My Father’s experience creating collages was the inspiration for this book. Art had always played an extremely important role in his life, and so, as he became blind in his old age, with my mother’s help, he began to assemble collages: the pictures in his mind were transformed into reality. Through the many individual elements of a collage, we can express and visualise the variety of life, illuminating the cracks in our knowledge whilst showing that only through the juxtaposition of all its parts, both old and new, can we create a complete story.
A collage often surprises its admirer in the same way that life can often throw up an unexpected turn of events. In art, as in life, it is during these moments of discovery that we take stock and choose different direction."

In our latest book "Living in Harmony", we offer suggestions which can accompany and assist our readers towards an harmonious way of life.
“In all aspects of life, attention to quality is vital in the creation of an ecologically sustainable economy. Satish asserts that the path to sustainability is through simplicity and has defined this as a transition from ‘ego’ to ‘eco’. July 12th has been established as ‘The Day of Simplicity’ allowing everyone to reflect on and start simplifying their lives. Everyone should search for their own path to simplicity; for us, the way began with nature and the cultivation of rye for our bread.
In this volume we consider harmony. Our brain is divided into two hemispheres: the left hand-side is rational and calculating, the right hand-side is intuitive and creative. In a state of simplicity, the two hemispheres are in equilibrium thereby achieving harmony.
Living in harmony is the underlying principle of PEMA.”
